Featured Series - Fiction

Initially, we had no intention of publishing fiction. None of the authors with whom we first worked wrote it, and there were plenty of publishers already doing a terrific job with a lot of very interesting writing. Then we met Gail Hewitt, a cousin of one of our nonfiction authors, who had an idea for a multi-volume series called LOVE, ROMANCE, AND BUSINESS that combined business with true love and romance as it tracked the life of a beautiful young woman from her uncertain teens into her enterprising forties, and we were hooked. We especially liked the fact that the series featured interconnected characters and sitautions but that each book stood on its own and made a satisfying read in and of itself.

Now, we have the first title in our second series, ARTFUL DODGER, about a cold-case sleuth with a tragic secret in his own past. Next comes our third series, ROYAL PROGRESS, about a distant world where colonists have finally found a political and social system they think is perfect only to learn the hard way how wrong they were. Also upcoming is the series OUT OF TIME AND PLACE, about time travel, showing that the good, old days aren't necessarily good and may not remain in the past where they belong.

Numerically, fiction still isn't a strong focus, but we're getting there.
